The Board is happy to report the transition from a self-administered Homeowner's Association to a property management company is going smoothly. This is allowing the board members to concentrate more time on community relations and less time on the day-to-day tasks. After a short stall in the approval process of the New Life - Aqua Barn Annexation, which includes the Summerfield neighborhood, the King County Boundary Review Board has approved the annexation. For those of you that have been keeping tabs on the details of this action, the KC BRB has decided to delete the overlapping area from the proposed Fairwood Incorporation area from the annexation zone.

At the May 5th 2008 Renton City Council Meeting, An ordinance was read annexing approximately 374 acres of property generally located immediately south of the Renton Maple Valley Hwy. and immediately east of the Cedar River at approximately 136th Ave. SE; New Life - Aqua Barn Annexation. All Council Members approved this annexation. This was the second and final reading and adotion. Stay tuned for updates on this matter.
